Sarah has been in and out of the hospital for many months. She has been treated with radiation for the past few months because chemotherapy is not an option anymore because she may not be able to handle the intensity of that treatment anymore.
I can't keep up with what has been happening because every time she gets out of the hospital, she looks great! I don't even worry about her anymore because she has such a great attitude about everything, she makes it look painless. You don't see her hurting. The last time I saw her was Christmas. She came downstairs and her face wasn't swollen, she wasn't limping as much, and she was talking to us just like the Sarah we knew 3 years ago.
Now we don't know what to expect. The news isn't good and I'm playing it around in my head because it's too overwhelming to understand.
Sarah, we are praying for you. I want you to get better. I really do. You are the most awesome cousin ever. Seriously, my partner in crime during all the family parties and everything! Dude, pull though. Hope to see you when we get back from the Philippines.

Sarah gave a Eulogy at our grandaunt's funeral in early May. She passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer after more than a year long battle with the illness. Cancer has become a big scare in our family now because we have seen how much pain and sorrow it brings to everyone around us.
Sarah spoke about "finishing the fight" [for the both of us] and I said in my mind, I want to help Sarah finish the fight as well. So all of us together, can help Sarah battle cancer.
